What we collect to make your video, who sees it to make one, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted.
Pipeline Video turns a website, a repository or a document into a video: a script you approve, then a render you keep. This page is what that costs in data, stated plainly rather than in the passive voice most of these are written in.
Your account
Signing in needs an email address, and either a password or a Google account. Choose Google and Google gives us your name, your email address and your profile picture, which is exactly what its own consent screen tells you before you agree to it, nothing more. Choose a password and we hold nothing about you beyond the address and whatever Supabase, the service that runs sign-in, needs to keep the account working.
We do not see or store your password. It goes to Supabase directly and never passes through our own servers.
What you give us to make a video
The website, GitHub repository or document you point us at, and whatever our crawler reads from it, so we can write a script grounded in what your product actually says about itself. On a paid plan, your own music bed or your own clips, if you choose to supply them instead of our catalogue.
We only read the site or repository you name. We do not crawl anything you have not pointed us at, and we do not keep browsing after the pages that go into your video.
Who else sees it, and why
Making a video is not one system, it is several, and each is told only what it needs:
- Supabase runs accounts and holds the tables this page describes.
- Google sees your account details only if you choose to sign in that way.
- Anthropic writes the script, from what our crawler read off your pages.
- ElevenLabs turns the finished script into the recorded voiceover.
- Pexels is searched for stock footage, using terms drawn from your script, when a beat calls for it.
- DeepSeek answers a question you ask Kali, our page assistant, when the page's own index does not already cover it.
- Stripe handles payment if you buy a video or a plan. We never see or store a card number; Stripe tells us only that you paid and for what.
- Azure Communication Services is the relay behind two emails: the account emails Supabase sends on our behalf, and the one we send ourselves if you ask to be told by email when your video is ready.
- Vercel serves this website and the app, and sees the ordinary access logs any host does.
Nobody on this list is paid by advertising, and none of them receives your data for any purpose beyond doing the one job listed beside its name.
How long we keep it
The working material behind a video, the crawl, the script, the intermediate files, is deleted seven days after the job runs. A file you upload and never use in a finished video is deleted after twenty four hours.
The finished video itself is kept for as long as your plan promises when you made it, a free video for a shorter window, a paid one longer or for as long as the account exists, and that promise does not change retroactively if your plan later lapses. What changes is only what a future video is promised.
One record outlives all of that on purpose: that a video was made, its title, length and language, but not its content. The free plan gives every account two videos for life, and that count has to survive the working files being cleaned up, or deleting your own history would hand you an allowance that never runs out.
Feedback and Kali
A bug report or an idea you send us is kept, with the page you sent it from and your browser's own description of itself, because a report with no context is not fixable. What you ask Kali and what she answers is kept the same way, for the plainest reason there is to keep it: the questions she cannot answer are the list of what this page should say and currently does not.
Cookies, and what tracks you
The app itself sets no cookie. Staying signed in works by holding a token in your browser's own local storage, which is sent only to our own servers and to Supabase, never to a third party, and never used to follow you elsewhere.
This website runs Vercel Web Analytics, which is deliberately not built on a cookie: page views, referrers and country, in aggregate, with nothing that names you and nothing to ask your consent for.
Your choices
Being emailed when a render finishes is a checkbox you tick, not a default, and unticking it is enough to stop it. To have your account and everything under it deleted, write to us at the address below, and we will do it by hand and confirm when it is done.
Children
This product is not directed at, and is not intended for, anyone under sixteen.
Changes to this page
If what we collect or who we share it with changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not rewrite it quietly to match a decision already made; a material change is one worth telling an existing account about directly.
